Kalypso Media Group announced that the official full website of the upcoming strategy title Tropico 3 is now live in English and German languages.

Tropico 3 is an upcoming 2009 politics and city building video game developed by Haemimont Games and published by Kalypso Media and it is a sequel to Tropico. The game will return to the roots of the series, putting the player into the shoes of "El Presidente" - a dictator governing over an island banana republic. Staying true to the spirit of Tropico, the new game will be a construction and management simulation with heavy emphasis on city building.

Head over to website where you will find all the information about Tropico 3 including a wealth of new screenshots, the teaser video, the official streaming video trailer as well as the chance to try your hand at running your country as El Presidente with the playable PC demo (available for download). In this demo you'll find out that your avatar can be customized, or choose the female characters Eva "Evita" Peron, Marie Gomez or Isabela Llorando.

Eva "Evita" Peron traits:
Popsinger, elected as fascist, charismatic, entrepreneural, kleptomaniac and a compulsive gambler which going to cost the community a fortune for sure!

Marie Gomez traits:
Travel agent, hotel corporate buy-out, diplomatic, well travelled, lazy and short tempered perhaps due to the heat on the island?

Isabela Llorando traits:
biblical scholar, elected for family values, hardworking, charasmatic, religious zealot and a coward. What a girl to lead this community ...

Tropico 3 is already tipped as one of the strategy game highlights of 2009 and will be released across Europe on November 6th for PC and on November 13th for Xbox 360. In North America, the PC version is scheduled for October 20th and the Xbox 360 will follow in early 2010.
