Hi all-

Got back into games lately after MANY years away and geez, how much I missed. I totally fell in love with LoZ on NES when I was in grade school and the last system I really used back then was a Genesis. Yeah, things have evolved a lot, haha.

So upon hearing about my Zelda adoration, someone recommended I play LoZ: Twilight Princess on the Wii... holy rekindled love affair! I just beat the game and immediately went back to start it again, I loved it so much.

I'm also looking for similar games with good mythology, characters and journey (but without gore or violence).

hi ivoryauror and welcome! Thankfully things have evolved ;) Sometimes I check the older games on the NES but somehow they aren't appealing as they once were (except for mario 1, world, etc) But how does the time gap appear? Just play Zelda once more, and perhaps a new zelda will be released on the Wii in 2010!

I have heard about this new Zelda, hoping for a 2010 release! I have an emulator that I go back to now and again to play the original LoZ and SMB 3. Those are really the only games I still like. The other NES games are just nostalgic. But playing the Wii now (or even Ocarina of Time on N64) makes me feel like a world existed all this time without my knowledge and now I just discovered it. Kinda cool really :)

Although I'm (and many many MANY more of us) are waiting for a 2010 release of a new Zelda, I don't think it will happen. I rather would bet on March 2011. But the New Zelda would look very GOOD under the Christmas tree, or even better in the Wii of course ;)
