Yes, I just bought a xbox360 on friday and eternal sonata.

Being interupted by my dad complaining about the internet, I was on the 360 dashboard just discovering I wans't online. On my way to check out the problem on the computer I tripped over the cable and my 360 went bonk on the floor.

The console itself is ok, but my poor brand new game died, forever! Those lines look very nasty and won't work anymore. Just why must the reader ruin the CD?

Should I return the game and force them to keep/recycle it? I don't like having games around me that doesn't work. D:

hmm not a happy post :( but what can you do? Of course you can go back to the store and they will take it back but don't expect any refund. But if the scratches are not too deep, maybe there's some easy trick to remove them. Read about it before somewhere, try a google search?

Meh, I don't care about a refund. I just don't want to be the one throwing the game away and I wouldn't like to see it around the house while rotting away. =P

I've been reading some weird fixing tricks... toothpaste, banana and microwave. Sounds funny, but no way I'm going to do that!

Could you take a high res picture of the dick and post it here, if i can see the damage i might be able to give a solution so it could work again.

There are a few things you can do to fix these things... but it helps if i can see the damage.

naww, hate when that happens :(
and then you either have to wait one week so they can get it to the store, or even longer!

I totally ruined a game CD just by tilting my machine. Talk about lesson learned. Still have both copies, the ruined one and the replacement.
